Customer & member apps

Apps that show your members current information

Our team builds phone and web apps that pull live information from the systems you already run, with an editor so your staff can post updates themselves.

What we build

The kinds of apps we build

Some businesses need an app in the App Store and Google Play. Others are better served by a web app that opens from a link with nothing to install. We'll tell you which fits before you spend money on either.

Member apps

Schedules, announcements, hours and links into booking and payments, in your brand.

Customer apps

Ordering, loyalty, account details and support for the customers who come back most.

Live data feeds

Information pulled from your booking, point-of-sale or scheduling system.

Staff editors

A screen where staff change announcements, labels, colors and menu tiles, with a live preview before publishing.

Notifications

Closures, schedule changes and news sent to members' phones when it matters.

Web apps

The same features in a link that works on any phone, with no app store and nothing to download.

Common features

What most of our apps include

These show up in most of our app projects.

  • Live information from your systems. Schedules, availability and prices stay current.
  • Shorthand turned into plain names. Internal codes from your booking system become names members recognize, and internal holds stay hidden.
  • An editor with a preview. Staff see exactly how a change will look before they publish it.
  • Links into booking and payments. Members book and pay through the tools you already use.
  • Notifications. For closures, changes and news, managed by your staff.
  • Store listings set up. We prepare the App Store and Google Play listings and handle the review process.
  • A way to move members over. If you're replacing an old app, we plan how existing users find the new one.

How we work

How a project runs

Every project starts with an intro meeting. We need to understand your business before we can scope the work or give you a price. More on how we work.

  1. 1

    Intro meeting

We learn how your members or customers use your business, look at the systems the app needs to read from, and tell you whether an update, a new app or a web app makes the most sense.

  2. 2

    Written scope, quote and timeline

It depends on scope, which we set after the intro meeting. As a guide, new apps take 6 to 10 weeks including Apple and Google review. You get a firm timeline with your written scope.

  3. 3

    Build and test

You try the app on your own phone before members see it, with real data, on both iPhone and Android.

  4. 4

    Launch and training

We launch, train whoever will look after it, and cover it for a year.

After launch

Every project includes a one-year warranty. If something we built stops working the way we agreed, we fix it at no charge. Changes, adjustments and new features are quoted separately.

Questions

App questions

Do we need an app in the App Store, or will a web app do?

It depends on how people will use it. Notifications and a home-screen icon favor a store app; reaching people from a link with nothing to install favors a web app. We recommend one and explain why.

How long does an app take?

It depends on scope, which we set after the intro meeting. As a guide, new apps take 6 to 10 weeks including Apple and Google review, which runs on their schedule. You get a firm timeline with your written scope.

Can you work with the app we already have?

Sometimes. If your current app can read from a new data source, fixing what feeds it can be quicker than replacing it. We check that first.

Which AI do you use?

We work with all the major AI providers and choose per project. A person approves anything an AI drafts before it goes out, and we walk through how your data is handled in the intro meeting.

Who owns what you build?

Unless your contract says otherwise, we own what we build and license it to you. If you want a full handoff of the code and accounts, we can agree that in your contract. Some of our own tools may be licensed to you as part of a project.
